First Round (FR) 10:30 AM ยท Second Round (SR) 11:30 AM
The Shillong Morning Teer result is the early session at the Polo Ground โ a fully separate game from the afternoon draw, not a rehearsal for it. First round lands around 10:30 AM, second around 11:30 AM, and the whole thing is over before lunch. Fifty archers, thirty arrows each in the first round and twenty in the second, officials counting strikes on the straw target. The last two digits of the count are the number: 1,247 arrows means 47. Morning teer runs its own counters and keeps its own archive. Crucially, it also runs on Sundays, when the afternoon grounds rest. Check both rounds here as they land.
Shillong's morning session uses the same Polo Ground as the afternoon game but nothing else is shared: different shooting, different count, different number. The format is identical โ fifty archers, thirty arrows in FR, twenty in SR, last two digits of the strikes on the bamboo target. A count of 940 arrows gives 40. The first round usually closes around 10:30 AM and the second around 11:30 AM. Because the session is short, timings stay tighter than the afternoon's, though a slow round still delays the count. The morning game runs seven days a week, Sundays included. Teer is legal in Meghalaya under the Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax Act, 1982, and may be illegal elsewhere. Results here are information only โ confirm against the official announcement.
This is the point most newcomers miss. The morning number and the afternoon number at the Polo Ground have no connection โ different archers shoot, different arrows fly, different officials count. A 47 in the morning says nothing about the afternoon's 3:45 PM draw. Common numbers are tracked separately for the same reason: the morning archive is its own thirty-day record of repeaters, house and ending. Players who mix the two archives are mixing two different games. Keep a separate notebook for the morning session.
The morning crowd is its own world. Shopkeepers put down their numbers before opening up; regulars treat the 10:30 AM first round as the start of the teer day. Counters do brisk business between 8 and 10 AM, then the ground takes over. By noon it is done โ numbers on the board, tickets checked, and the town moves on to the afternoon's waiting. On Sundays, when the big afternoon grounds are silent, the morning session carries the whole day's teer. That Sunday habit is why the morning archive matters more than its size suggests.

The common numbers page tracks which numbers came up most in recent shillong morning results โ most frequent numbers, house and ending digits, counted from announced results. Past frequency is all it is; no number is ever "due".
First round around 10:30 AM, second round around 11:30 AM, seven days a week โ including Sundays. The session is short, so timings hold fairly steady, but the count still follows the shooting. Numbers reach the board minutes after each count.
